Something dawned on me last nite, so Ive scimmed through the guide and found no mention of this so I thought I would go ahead and ask..

Do you have to do this quest? (I will be for sure)
If not do you just remain a hybrid of the two forms with less power?

if you dont do the quest you would stay as you have been up until then, no lev (wraith) no see invis, have to use spell for enduring breath and no boost to your spell damage in either school of magic

with or withtou the forms you remain the same hybrid of both forms.. you just get more benefits towards one side, spirit or physical IF you do the quest.

Not to mention you will be unable to gain news minions withtout finishing the quets (plaguebringer, advocate, zealot)

You don't lose any of your efficiency by specializing lich or wraith. You only gain more skills and abilities focused on either physical or spiritual spells.

thank u lifebane for this post...i recently started a necro on halgar and am almost 29 and wanted to know more...one question, did they revamp after GU4? i couldn't find anything anywhere on this site about it...

note: seeing as how the devs never implemented the form change quest after changing how the two forms function, they ahve become much kinder abotu helping you out. Basically you can petition an ingame gm type and ask them to reset your form flags for you. They will do it for you ONCE so be certain. They did my request within 4 or so hours if I recall. Then just run aroudn and redo the quest and poof.. new form chosen.

Remember to check your minions. I switched to lich but learn wraith minions, had to petition again to get the right ones.

The healer minions are great for solo and provide some benefit when sitting idle in g4

The mana minions would be nice in a raid, if you could keep them alive.

It would be sweet to have both versions of the plague bearer, if they could stay alive.

well i've mostly solod since i have been dabbling lately so healers are great! Smile

Espacially with the abom tanking mobs method. i was always a fan of the diareah zombie though.
