Well it seems that our brief moment of fame shot through bandwidth today and hit a previously set daily cap. This caused the site to shutdown around midnight or so. The cap has been removed now, but that still doesn't lessen the annoyance of the site having been down. Our apologies for the inconvenience... Now taking bets on the next site downtime!

In all seriousness, once the site grows beyond the current "safe" level of hosting restrictions we will migrate to another host never fear. This downtime wasn't a hosting capacity issue, it was a settings problem where not enough bandwidth had been allocated for a daily cap limit. I blame the code monkey!!

Bleh growing pains are well.. a pain!

Somehow, being down for this reason feels more like a blessing.

I will take such a blame anytime, provided no one suffers from the downtime.

Now, in all truthfulness, the bandwidth daily cap was pretty high :)
