Apparently there are a few fellow gaming geeks over at The New York Times. They wrote an article about Vanguard and went to some length describing the development of the game and the role Brad played in it all. It also touched on why Microsoft passed the game on to SOE... kind of made it sound like a corporate game of hot potato. Interesting reading if you have the time. Read the full article here

In so many ways is it reminiscent of the trance like feeling our esteemed Lifebane has told me about so many times. It is in the recollection of all these epic and befuddling Everquest stories that one could notice in his eyes a glimpse of a fiery sparkle, which only could be matched in passion by the breath of a dragon waking up from a thousand year sleep.
I know many of you share this feeling, and can only hope Vanguard SOH will revive the passion that fell asleep with your EQ characters...
A great reading indeed, for all of you who will recognize themselves in Lifebane, and for the rest of us who yearn to learn from our elders.
