Downtime - Sept. 5th... Guild Halls and Brotherhoods

Server and Station Downtime: Wednesday, September 5th

As per the SoE announcement: :

Tomorrow morning the servers will be brought down for a restart beginning at 5:00 AM PDT. The purpose of this restart is to bring new features to the game. The approximate downtime is estimated at 4 hours, with the server being brought back up on or around 9:00 AM PDT. In addition to this downtime, all Station services that require a log in will be undergoing maintenance between the hours of 7:00 AM PDT and 9:00 AM PDT. During this time, logins to any Station site, game, or forum may fail. The good news for Vanguard players is that we're killing two birds with one stone!

Also, as another reminder:

-Guild Halls must be purchased by a Guild Leader
-Must form a full group of guild members and have them be in the same zone
-Must have completed the diplomacy quest and have the diplomacy item in the Guild Leaders inventory.

You may only own one "plot" per account in Vanguard. So you may not own a house and a Guild house. It's one or the other.

Also included in today's patch was:

GENERAL
- The “/switchserver” command is now active. All players will be give one free server transfer.
- Guildhall plots are now active. Go forth and buy!
- Brotherhoods are live!

ITEMS
- Fixed a bug that allowed players to equip bows much higher level than they should have been able to.
