An update on update 2 and the merge!

Greetings once again brother and sister necrophiliacs. I happened upon an update of some interest over on the official SOE forums earlier that I thought I'd share here.... call it hope or false hope as you desire.

It seems Hasium (aka. David "Hasium" Gilbertson - Director of Development - Vanguard: Saga of Heroes ) had an update that many of us have been eagerly waiting for. Read the copy below and marvel at the news.....

" It may still go out this week, but it's starting to look like next week. We had some bugs pop-up at the last minute that we don't want to push Live. So we are working with QA to get them resolved.

The server merge is still scheduled to kick off the week following update 2 assuming there aren't major problems with the update."

Unbelievably there was not mention of yet another 3 week delay in mergers and updates so this might actually mean we are getting close finally. Time will tell of course but for now it is the most "solid" news wehave had regarding the time line for these big changes.
